Job Description
Position objectives: Support client organizations’ in ensuring the integrity of accounting information and financial reporting systems, whilst ensuring compliance with all company law, tax, secretarial, FEMA/RBI and other regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• As a senior member of the client servicing team, the primary role will be to advise client organizations on accounting, financial reporting, tax and compliance issues through a positive, collaborative, innovative and responsive work culture.
• Establish and maintain effective client services that ensure sound professional practice, compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements in relation to the client organizations’ reporting requirements.
• Review, analyse and provide recommendations relating to queries raised by client organizations in matters relating to accounting, company law, tax, secretarial and FEMA/RBI matters.
• Ensure the Partners of the Firm are fully informed of the client organization’s requirements on a timely basis. Develop and maintain systems to provide up to date and accurate information and reports on progress of client work on a monthly/fortnightly/weekly basis.
• Manage the client engagement and delivery process, ensuring the successful implementation of client commitments on an ongoing basis.
• Manage the engagement team to achieve optimal performance, including the management of workloads and resourcing, performance management, constructive feedback and facilitation of ongoing professional and technical development.
• Lead and participate in knowledge sharing sessions to improve awareness and strengthen skills on best practices relating to delivery of commitments to clients.
• Evaluate and develop new client reporting formats and structures across client organisations’ and recommend appropriate solutions that meet clients information requirements.
• Manage the development and delivery of professional services of the Firm, including maintenance of data files, communication records, client reports and other miscellaneous information used to provide effective and efficient client services.
• Support the partners of the Firm in identifying business opportunities, writing proposals, making presentations and negotiating with clients for securing new client engagements.
Undertake other such activities relating to the delivery commitments to client organizations, as may required by the Firm from time to time.
