Job Description : Assistant Manager Finance

Basic Mission

This position is responsible for managing and administrating the organizations operations towards treasury, leasing, banking and control over balance sheet control including fixed assets, receivable and payable.

II. Main responsibilities:


Working Capital Management: Responsible for the Treasury and banking function including managing daily cash balances; ensuring that a company's cash flow is adequate to allow it to operate effectively; forecasting cash payments and anticipating challenges arising from available cash flow; negotiating loan or overdraft terms with company bankers.

Leases Management: Manage all aspects of equipment leasing requirements of the Company including negotiation, effective and timely setting-up the limits, motoring for compliances towards various conditions & covenants in the agreement, timely alerts for expense & revenue mismatch, repossession CPE and settlement with Lessors at the end of the term.

Investment Management: Manage all aspects of In-house investment portfolios, including Working capital, High-Yield, Escrow, and other portfolios. Manage long-term and short-term investment strategies. Review and recommend changes to the investment policies based on the market conditions such that surplus money gives returns.

Cash Management System: Evaluate, develop and implement cash management systems to optimize efficiency. Liaising with bankers and investors and maintaining positive working relationships

Fixed Assets Management: Devise and implement processes for ensuring timeliness and completeness of asset capitalization and reporting. Use technology for its tracking and physical existence. Track customer premises equipment for timely deployability and repossession.

Banking Operations: Responsible for managing & setting up non-funds requirements like BG/LC/Forward covers its operations for timely delivery to business, control over BRS and resolution of open items, minimize unidentified credits & debits in bank etc.

Others:
Manage relationships with financial service providers, lessors, bankers, monitor bank service fees and address quality issues. Conduct benchmark studies of banks and their services to evaluate effectiveness and productivity
Ensure the existing fund/non-fund/Lease limits are always current and no limit has expired and charges filed.

Builds and improves strong automatable processes in the function. All reporting deadlines to be planned and are adhered to. Ensuring all audit requirements are met and all audits conducted in a time and as per schedule.

Responsible for statutory, others submission & compliances to RBI, Banks and other authorities

Implements lean management in the function and looks to outsourcing non-value add repetitive tasks to third parties.



Desire Profile Specification
Competencies
Thorough understanding of the treasury, accounting, finance and audit function
Knowledge of companies act, accounting standards, SOX, transfer pricing, high sea sales, leasing transactions
Knowledge in accounting and financial planning.
Knowledge of treasury function for managing non-fund & fund based credit limits, online payment gateways, banking & payable control
Knowledge of direct & indirect taxation laws and compliance obligations
Experience of working in a SAP environment
Leadership, Team building and communication.

Complementary Knowledge (degree, training)
Chartered Accountant with 8+ years of experience in Industry .
